Antique Dresden Porcelain Star Mark HP Cup & Saucer Cherubs Cobalt Blue Gold Here is a very beautiful and very well-made antique Dresden porcelain hand-painted cup and saucer set with a decoration of cherubs with cobalt blue and gold. It is marked with a Dresden “star” mark. Saucer measures about 5 1/2″ in diameter. Cup measures about 2 3/4″ tall and about 2 7/8″ diameter at the mouth. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Gold trim is in excellent condition overall with just a small amount of rubbing to edge of saucer. The cherub scenes are beautifully hand-painted. There is some spattering on the underside of the cup, done in the making. There are some minor tiny specks of blue on the interior of the cup. A really fine set. Please see photos.
