How to Make Your Own Vintage Tag

Antique tag Floridians are all over Florida. You can find them in every theme park, flea market, and antique shop. A great place to start is with a little bit of history. The “macbook air” or the Apple of my eye is a very popular tag given to children by their grandparents.

You can either buy or make some. These are the basics that you will need for the project. You will also need a “water bottle” (to put the tag on the baby’s back), scissors and tag line. In addition you will need vintage photo booth props, scissors, photo booth frame, rubber stamp, vintage photo booth supplies, paper flower template and your own personal flair.

Once you have gathered your tools and gotten your supplies ready it is time for the fun part. First you need to cut out your vinyl sticker and you will also need to create the hole for the address label. If you are using a real grandma’s license plate, you can simply use an old one to make your decal. You will need to measure and cut out your vinyl sticker and the hole for the address label. Make sure that you leave enough room for the address label to fit.

Next you will need to cut out the font and colors of the words that you will want to put on the front side of your vintage label. This will depend on what theme you are using to make your card. If you want a Floridian themed card you can use a Floridian paper flower template. The other option you have is a Beach printable Floridian paper flower template. You can use any design and color that you would like as long as it has the word that you want printed in black.

Now it is time to place all of your cards together on a clean piece of paper with a large safety pin in the middle. If you are using a real grandmother’s license plate you can put this on the front as well. Then you want to carefully tape down the bottom so that no glue will spill out and ruin the whole thing. After that you simply need to print your tag out onto quality paper and give it a nice printout to frame. The finished product should be something that is beautiful for a great Floridian baby tag.
