Follies in Suffolk – The Unique Coastal Destination

If you live in the town of Follies Al, a little over an hour north of Oxford, there is a small but charming antique store run by a retired couple, Frank and Max Foley. Frank and Max started their antique store in Follies fourteen years ago, and they have been successful with it ever since. They have a selection of antique stores all over Follies, and a good selection of gifts, knick-knacks and collectibles. Frank and Max do not carry any pet supplies or dog supplies, but they do have many nice little antique Chihuahuas and Dachshund dogs on display. The shop is open Sunday to Saturday and closed on Mondays.

Frank and Max were named “Follies” because they wanted a name that could be interpreted as a “Folly,” so they chose a very unusual spelling. It is difficult to say how long they have run their shop, because no one knows the exact date, but it appears that it has been going on for at least twenty years. They are both hardworking people and seem to enjoy the work they do so much.

The antique shop is located in a high point in Follies Al, and there is no shortage of beautiful buildings nearby. If you are looking for something very specific, such as Egyptian antiques, you will probably want to visit Follies early in the morning or late in the evening when the shops are less busy. The atmosphere in the shop is lively, and you can tell that people are interested in selling you something. If you are willing to spend a bit more money, you can find some nice items to buy.

Another thing to keep in mind is that most antique stores do not accept credit cards. If you are going to purchase an item, you might as well find a place to hold it while you wait. Many people who go to Follies for the first time and see the large antique shops nearby wonder why they cannot just walk right in. If you are going to find a store that sells authentic stuff, they are usually open well into the evening – sometimes all the other stores in Follies have closed for the day.

If you do not find what you are looking for, Follies Al is also home to a number of secondhand antique shops. Many of these sellers advertise on the local newspaper, or on the internet. If they are not in your local area, they are great places to look for rare books or unique objects. If you are going to take the time to search, you will likely be able to find something that is affordable. If you are shopping for something new, you might want to start your search on the internet, where you will usually find better deals and higher quality items than in antique shops.

One final note about Follies – they do NOT accept checks! This should not put you off from visiting, as many antique shops do, but if you are planning on buying something like a watch or something else expensive, you will need to have the funds available beforehand. If you are able to cover the full price upfront, then you will get more of a chance of negotiating the price down lower. Make sure that you have enough saved up before you visit Follies, as you will most likely be required to have a cashier take care of your purchase.
