This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced by Sevres. It is marked Chateau St. Cloud and dated 1846.The saucer has a diameter of 4 7/8 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set has elaborate decoration of garlands, swags and ribbons painted in magenta and gold. The design is intricate and was very time consuming to paint. There is gold trim on the handle and rims. CONDITION: There is a tiny chip inside the foot ring on the bottom of the saucer which does not affect the display or use of this set. We mention it for accuracy.
